Logistics can make or break any transportation company. Assisted Transportation Services, Inc. understands, as it provides non-emergency medical transportation for customers across a two state area. Assisted relied on drivers giving their status and location via 2-way radios back to the central office. Now, the central office had a system for delivering job assignments wirelessly and efficiently. Drivers received their daily schedules electronically, complete with passenger specific instructions, pick-up times, and destinations. The office could pinpoint the location of a van with the specialized equipment necessary for the care of each passenger.
